Why did we set up this website?

We simply do not believe that Towry is the right company to handle our investments and we want to exercise our right to transfer those investments to another company. Towry have delayed those transfers whilst at the same time delivering a vastly reduced standard of service and delaying payment of our dividends.

We set up this site because we could not believe that we were alone in this. Its purpose is therefore to bring together everyone who finds themselves in a similar situation so that the people responsible for overseeing the Financial Services industry in the UK can see the whole shabby picture of how Towry are treating their clients.

What are the specific issues that clients say they have with Towry?

Who can join the Petition?

This is a Petition of current or recent clients of Towry Limited or Towry Investment Management Limited so we naturally expect that this applies to the people posting on this site. However, we are keen to provide a platform for Financial Advisors who have experiences in dealing with Towry and we have provided a seperate area where Advisors can post and provide relevant information.

Why do I have to give my name?

As this is a Petition then by definition you must provide your name and a contact address. This would be via the email address you supply although we undertake not to publish your email address on the site.

However, we fully understand that some Advisors are reluctant to expose their names and company names under some circumstances and because we value their help and input, and because they are not formally a petitioner (unless they also post in their own name as a Petitioner/Investor) then we reserve the right to allow them to post anonymously.

Who has set up this site?

We're disgruntled clients of Towry, possibly just like you.

Do you or did you have a connection with Edward Jones?

The only connection we have or had with EJ is that we were customers.

Are you being funded by ex Edward Jones Advisors?

No. Despite rumours being put around by 'certain' parties, we receive no funding from anyone in the Financial Services industry. This website is provided by Interactive Event Technology Limited, who are also shabbily treated clients of Towry.

Do you remove posts if you don't like what is being said?

So far we have only had to remove two posts. One which was for the use of threatening and inappropriate language directed at ourselves and that together with the poster's email address, IP Address has been reported to the users ISP, the other attempted to use a false email address. Both contravened our Conditions of Usage.

We hope that our 'Conditions of Usage' are clear about what we will accept and what we will remove.
